Whale watching
The whale watchers come because there is no better place to see the whales than the Head of Bight viewing platform. Each year up to a hundred southern right whales spend the winter here. The scenery is wild. Watch the waves of the Southern Ocean crash against the cliffs.
Get back to nature
Many come for the national parks with huge sand dunes, deserted beaches and rugged bushland. Camp and feel like there’s no one else in the world. Visit the red earth of the outback, the Gawler Ranges and walk where the land has been undisturbed for millions of years.
